ABOUT

Type Rhythm is a rhythm typing game with a very simple concept - you type lyrics to a song and get graded on your performance. It sounds simple and boring on paper, but makes for a peculiarly enjoyable game. Grind to beat your own PB's, or compete w/ your friends. Use modifiers to customize the song to your liking. Or, just sit back and enjoy the music with flow mode, removing all the bloat and complicated characters.

Where are the songs?

Type Rhythm has an in-game song browser powered by mod.io, where you can find your favourite songs community-made. Type Rhythm also has an in-game song creation toolkit, where you can create songs and upload them all from a simple in-game menu.

Developer Message

Type Rhythm is a labour of love, and while I do believe it is a functionally fun game, it heavily relies on community contribution to keep it fresh and exciting. If you download this game, I heavily urge you to at least try to create a song and upload it. The in-game tools make it incredibly easy and almost idiot-proof. Submitting songs makes the game more exciting for everyone. PS. Make sure you VOTE for songs you like! Voting on high-quality charts makes the game more fun for everyone.
